CWRC’s 23 Advanced Practical Technologies of Water Conservancy were selected for the 2019 Promotion List of the Ministry of Water Resources
Recently, the Ministry of Water Resources released the "2019 Guide for the Promotion of Advanced Practical Technology in Water Area". For the Changjiang Water Resources Commission, 23 independent research and development results were selected, including 10 from the Yangtze River Scientific Research Institute, 9 from the Changjiang Institute of Survey, Planning, Design and Research, 3 for the Bureau of Hydrology, and 1 from the Institute of Hydroecology.
In recent years, the CWRC has vigorously implemented the strategy of “Supporting CWRC with science and technology, and strengthening development with talents”. Great emphasis has been put on the application and promotion of scientific and technological achievements, especially those in response to the major needs of Yangtze River governance and protection. As a result, a series of new products, technology and materials have been introduced. The selection of 23 advanced practical technologies of water conservancy into the 2019 Guide is of positive significance, both for facilitating the transformation of those technologies into real productivity as soon as possible, and for effectively promoting the development of water conservancy work.
The "Guide for the Promotion of Advanced Practical Technology in Water Area" is released once a year, aiming at thoroughly implementing the national innovation-driven development strategy, and providing solid technical support and guidance for consolidating the water conservancy foundation, ensuring national water security, and realizing water conservancy modernization. Through assessment by panel experts, a total of 233 advanced technologies (products) of water conservancy were listed in the 2019 Guide nationwide.
